Which size do I need?

Each product page lists exact dimensions. Our regular claws suit fine to medium hair or half-up styles, while the Big Claw is designed for thick, long or curly hair in a full twist. If you're between two sizes, size up.

What are the clips made of?

Cellulose acetate — the same plant-based material used in quality eyewear — with gold-tone steel spring hardware. Each piece is hand-finished, with polished edges, smoothed teeth and tested hardware.

How do I look after my clip?

Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Keep it away from direct heat, perfume and hairspray, which can dull the gloss. Acetate is durable but not unbreakable, so avoid forcing a small clip around a very thick twist.

Do you take custom orders?
