About
Porcelain & ballet.
MARBRÉ began with a simple frustration: claw clips that looked beautiful in pictures and felt cheap in the hand — teeth that snapped, springs that gave up, colours that never quite matched the photo.
We thought we could do better. So we did it ourselves.
Every MARBRÉ piece starts as a sketch in our studio and is made in our family-run workshop, where we control every step — from the cellulose acetate we press to the final hand-polish on every tooth. No middlemen, no mystery factory. When something isn't right, we remake it.
The name comes from marbré — French for “marbled” — after the acetate swirls that make every clip subtly one of a kind.
We keep the palette quiet — porcelain, ballet pink, ink — so the pieces themselves can speak. Designed to be worn daily, made to be kept.
